The Logitech Harmony remote helped keep me sane. This summer I unfortunately broke my leg while playing soccer. I couldn’t walk for a month and was ordered to remain in my bed or on the couch till it had some time to heal. The problem I ran into was my TV and cable box ran off different remotes. If my mom placed one of the remotes too far away then I was completely out of luck until someone came home. After this happened several times I politely asked if they wouldn’t mind picking up a Logitech Harmony remote so we could consolidate all the TV devices into one unit. This way all I had to do was keep track of one remote in order to watch television by myself all day.
My parents agreed and allowed me to use their credit card to buy a new universal remote online. I went to Logitech’s website and began to search through the vast list of remotes. The one that I decided to go with was one of their top of the line units, the Logitech Harmony One. It has a touch screen, can control up to 15 different devices, has backlit buttons, and is completely rechargeable. I also found out that I could now control my DVD player and surround sound stereo along with the TV and cable box. It was like a dream come true. I no longer had to worry about misplacing one of the remotes that turned something on. Now everything could be controlled through this one Logitech Harmony One device. I loved it. I wanted to tell all my friends so I hopped on my iPad and emailed everyone about how wonderful the Logitech Harmony One was. I got an overwhelming response that everyone already knew about the Logitech Harmony One. I guess I was the last to know!
