The Nikon P7000 is Nikon’s latest flagship digital camera just introduced and added to Nikon’s point and shoot digital camera lineup. By choosing to design a camera in this style as opposed to a simple point and shoot digital camera, this new Nikon offers increased customization and flexibility when shooting by using and setting the easy to reach and command dials on top of the camera body. With the flip of a dial, common camera settings such as aperture, ISO, white balance, shutter speed and even exposure compensation can all be adjusted while shooting for increased speed and creativity.
Any digital camera that hopes to even remotely compete in 2010 has to include HD video recording and the Nikon P7000 does not disapppoint in this regard: Full HD video at up to 720p is just a touch of a button away thanks to a dedicated video recording button on the rear of the camera body.
The lens on the Nikon P7000 features high end Nikkor optics and Nikon ED glass for increased sharpness and images free of distortion or flaws. The zoom lens on the Nikon P7000 offers a zoom ratio of 7.1x which translates to 28mm wide angle setting, and every focal length in between to 200mm on the telephoto end.
