This is a sausages and chicken breast baked with fruited sauerkraut recipe.

Ingredients:
* 2lb jar of sauerkraut
* 4 chicken breasts
* 5 chopped bacon slices
* 4 cooked german sausages
* 2 cups of chopped onions
* 1 cup of chopped carrots
* 2 1/2 cups of chicken broth
* 1 cup of dry white wine
* 1/2 cup of quartered dried apricots
* 1/2 cup of quartered prunes
* Assorted mustard
Steps:
The first step of this baked chicken recipe is to prepare the bacon. Prepare a large bowl and oak the sauerkraut with cold water for 30 minutes. Next, heat oil in a skillet over medium fire. Add in the bacon slices and fry them until they are brown and crispy. Remove them from the skillet and dry them in between paper towels to remove excessive oil.

Remove the skin from the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Using the same skillet, fry the chick breasts over medium heat until they are brown on both sides. Remove the chicken and dry them of excessive oil with paper towels in the similar manner with bacon.
Next, fry the sausages over medium heat as well until they are golden brown. Drain their excess oil using paper towel. Now, add in the onions and carrots into the same skillet and saute the 2 ingredients until they are soft.
First, we are going to bake the sauerkraut. Preheat the oven to350 degrees and prepare an oiled baking pan. Add the sauerkraut into the baking pan, then add in the chicken broth, white wine and bacon. Stir to mix all the ingredients together and cover the pan with foil. Bake the sauerkraut for 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, remove the foil and add in the apricots and prunes. Place the chicken breasts and sausages over the sauerkraut and cover with foil. Bake again for 30 minutes until the meat absorbed almost all the sauce. Cool the dish for 10 minutes before serving with mustard separately.
