Over the course of the next few sentences I would like to help the reader reach the point where they can confidently decided whether this machine is the one for them or not. While delivering my own personal thoughts on this unit I also want to deliver an unbiased picture of this machine.
The DeLonghi BAR32 is a pump driven espresso maker, and this fact means that it will not be prone to scorching coffee grinds, like I’m sure any of you who have used a steam driven machine can attest to do unfortunately burn grinds on a regular basis even when they are not faulty.
The 32 oz water reservoir allows us to brew ourselves 3-4 cappuccinos or 6-8 espressos without having to refill the tank. This is something that I think helps sell the machine.
There are a few reviews online that suggest that this machine can be faulty, but these are the exceptions and you always have the warranty. It should also be noted that anybody who has been badly done to will be much more likely to report their experience than anyone who has had a satisfactory time with the unit.
We can choose whether to use coffee pods or whether we want to use grounds when we brew our espresso. I would definitely recommend trying the pods at least once, I’m sure they will impress you. I remember having concerns myself as to whether they could match real coffee beans for flavor, but they definitely can, and the ease of use makes them something that anybody who isn’t a hardcore grinding fan could learn to love.
