A probiotic yogurt is great when you want your digestive system at full capacity. Protecting your stomach and the rest of your digestive system is very important. Step 1: Heating
First step is to heat at least three cups of milk. Make sure when you heat it is only on a low fire so that you can monitor the heat well enough. You need to heat it just enough before the milk boils. Stop when you see the milk froth up into a nice thick layer, just like what you would see in a coffee shop. After the frothing, you should let the milk cool to about 110 Fahrenheit.
If you don’t really have a thermometer with you, then you should let it cool just enough that your finger is comfortable touching the milk.
Step 2: Combining, Mixing and Preparation
After the milk is cool enough, add a cup of yogurt into a bowl and then add the milk. Stir gently to mix both the ingredients. Pour the bowl into a pan where it should be covered by a towel. After, place the mix into a heating pad in order for the temperature to sit between 110 to 113 degrees.
Step 3: Cooling and Final Preparations
Let the yogurt stay overnight for six to eight hours. If you feel like the yogurt has a great consistency you like, refrigerate the yogurt and allow it to cool into a nice state. This yogurt will last you about four to six days before it gets bad. Enjoy your probiotic yogurt!
