No Plus Size Halloween Costumes?

This Halloween night might have you wondering just what you are going to wear, especially if you are a fuller figured women because we all know that finding plus size halloween costumes is not the easiest of things to do.
If your creative juices are flowing freely then you could probably put together really nice and unique halloween plus size costumes for yourself. If you decide to go this route then its a good idea to look through your wardrobe or to ask friends and family if they have any items that they can spare (you might have to tell them that they won’t get them back either!). Or the other thing to do is to have a look through thrift shops or to buy items that are on sale but for this you have to be on the ball and be on the lookout all year round and only go for bargains that you might find when shops have promotions.

Don’t only look for clothes, try to find shawls and sheets, basically any large pieces of material that can be used to create part of an outfit (or all of it) from it. If you put your mind to it you can use that old bedsheet and transform it into a flowing long skirt that can be used as part of an outfit for a medieval queen, or a witch or a ghostly bride. It all depends on the color and fabric of the bedsheet but you get the idea. Make use of the resources you have and adapt them to fit your style and budget.

You can always then use your existing make up or buy dramatic face paints to give a really effective look to your face. Go over the top here with bloody red lips, black eye makeup, of mascara and eyeliner. Think big, bold and dramatic. Scrape your hair back from your face so that the sole focus is your face, which, if you have painted it  really scary, will make for a really dramatic effect.
