If something comes cheap, then it is almost always a blessing. Whatever the reason and whatever amount from the original price is reduced, people are going to latch onto the deal without a moment’s hesitation. They’d even tell their friends about it. Not only that but people are going to buy more than one and they end up going home with what they believe to be a great deal. But what if you went home and you discovered that your modern roman shades were all but roman shades?
Cheapness doesn’t always equate with quality and people are more inclined to purchase cheap roman shades because they usually come at a price that is usually not affordable for most individuals, particularly nowadays when the economy is very unpredictable. You might be buying shades a quarter or a third or even at a greater discount and yet the quality is equally proportionally to the product. Another issue is that the publicity of cheap shades may just be a scam from malicious people who intend on siphoning as much money from you, who would almost give anything to get shades at a cheaper price.
The shades may also not be the complete package that you thought it would be because it says in the advertisement you saw. It may indicate that it has blackout material than can completely blot out the sun from the face of the room, but you end up with neither black cheesecloth that is nowhere near the quality nor efficaciousness of a specialized roman shade fabric. It may present itself as something that operates without the use of hands, but you end up still manually adjusting the shades because you the mechanism is not working at all.
Be wary of roman shades that have slashed its prices. You may think you end up with a sack full of treasures but fail to realize that there are holes punched on the bottom. Not all are necessarily malevolent but being safe is always better than having to deal with the repercussions that it may bring about because you did take precautions in buying the shades.
