What Makes Someone Leave A Music Group?

It is all over the country music news on the loss of Gloriana’s Cheyenne Kimball. It especially gets everyone’s attention when there is no specific reason for it. So what would make a person leave something that is on the road to somewhere good?
The truth is that there are many reasons. Some are wonderful and some are really none of our business.

Over the years some of the top country songs were performed by groups have lost members because there were differences in opinion on where the group was to go and how. This might cause one or more to leave the group. They might even go off on their own with a new group or go solo. Many new careers have been started that way.

They might leave because of family reasons. Being a country music star is not easy on the family and many times they suffer with the absence of a loved one on the music circuit.

Health is another reason. The Judds became just Wynona Judd when her mother, Naomi, became sick and had to focus on her health.
Bands do not always stay the same. The members come and go throughout the years especially if the band is one that lasts a decade or more. The style and sound might change a little, but they usually strive to keep the fans on the same path with their music.

It takes a lot of work to write and record top 20 country songs, but climbing that hill can take a lot out of someone and it may mean having to part ways and start fresh.

Gloriana says that they are not going anywhere. Cheyenne might have found another path which many wish her well on, but the fans of Gloriana can rest assured that they are not losing it all. Good luck, Cheyenne on your endeavors. Thank you, Gloriana.
