I went to my wardrobe, scanned over my scarce collection of clothes, before pulling out the dressiest item of clothing I own. It was a plain blue vest top with a string of beads detailing the collar. After trying it on, I threw it back into my wardrobe frustrated and then returned to the phone to call my friend and tell her I would not be coming out clubbing after all.
