The short answer is yes, but there are some caveats. The reason that life coaching is well worth the price is because when you can make a big difference with a small change that ends up lasting a life time in your individual personal development, then it’s obviously very worth it. Quite a bargain actually. The caveats center around the idea that you need to do your homework on the life coach first to make sure you can get great results be it online dating advice, public speaking, job interviewing or whatever difficulty you are experiencing.
First thing is you want to ask the life coach if they do free trials, if the answer is no simply walk away. It is too big of an investment in your time and money to leave it to being a gamble. A free trial allows you to assess the life coaches competency as well as if the two of you are a good natural fit with one another. If the two of you are not jiving well together the chances of you having any major life changing break through in a habit or belief will be slim. You need to get along with your life coach and you also need to respect them.
The last thing you want to look for when deciding if it’s a good idea to invest in life coaching or not is to try and find a life coach you get along with and respect, but someone who is also very different than you in terms of looks, attitude, image, and personal style. The value that comes from having a coach that is very different than you is because that is how personal growth is achieved. If the life coach was like you only better, you could still get positive results, just not life changing results like you could get from someone different than you.
