There are actually second hand treadmills that are barely used and sold only for a fraction of the price. You can try searching online for them at sites like Craigslist and eBay. You have to check for shipping fees though as they are quite heavy. You can also try scouring your neighborhood for garage sales or your local gyms if they have plans of selling their old treadmills to upgrade.
