But since most women are busy nursing their new baby while trying to be back in shape, it’s understandable to see others struggling so much. Here are some of the things you can try to lose weight while not being exhausted with your work load:

  • Schedule a Time for Yourself

It is vital that you take good care of yourself so you can take good care of other people efficiently. Look for means so you can have at least an hour of workout everyday. To get back in shape, it takes time, so time you should be spending. If you cannot find other means, insert your workout times at home during your baby’s nap time. You can have your session broken down to say 15 minutes if you cannot do it in 60 minutes per session.

It is important for breastfeeding mothers to eat sufficiently and increase their calorie intakes. Not getting the right amount of calories will significantly decrease your metabolism to as much as 30 percent. You will always feel tired and sluggish if you will not eat healthy foods at right amount as you ad your baby will starve for nourishments which may affect your motivation of losing weight negatively.

  • Have Enough Sleep

Getting insufficient sleep can cause you lots of complications physically and emotionally which may result in you finding it more difficult to lose weight. Have 8 to 10 hours of sleep at least 3 times a week. This is much difficult for breastfeeding moms so get some sleep whenever you can.

  • Bring Along Your Baby
