About Silpada

Silpada Designs is a unique jewelry company focusing on sterling silver jewelry. It was started in 1997 by two mothers. Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh both signed up to be room mothers for their children in first grade. They hit it off as friends and soon discovered they both had a love for beautiful, quality jewelry. It wasn’t long before the idea struck them to try turning this love into a little extra cash.

Teresa and Bonnie say that their business was “basement born.” It started out as a few small parties at friends houses. Soon, the friends were asking if they could sell jewelry as well because it looked like such a fun job! Hence, Silpada was born and has been expanding ever since. By industry standards, it is still a relatively new company, but has already impressed many.

Silpada DesignsToday, Silpada Designs offers a unique opportunity to women by holding true to their original values of high quality jewelry, an amazing rewards program for hostesses, quality training for representatives, and a lucrative income. This is perfect for women wishing to set their own hours or that feel they are not qualified to do anything else. The amount you can earn is limitless; it is based on how often you want to work. The effort you put forth is what you get back…in cash!

Silpada has a very high sales average at $950 per party and hostesses and representatives earn free jewelry, like a beautiful Silpada Ring, at every step. As if that isn’t enough, for every jewelry polishing cloth sold, Silpada donates $1.00 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Selling jewelry through this company is not only fun and easy, but contributes to important modern research. You can feel good about what you do and make some extra bucks in the mean time!

Synthetic Diamonds with the HPHT Process

In many ways a diamond is the ultimate romantic gift. But with that significance comes a significant cost to match! For those with open minds though, there are ways to get a great gemstone without spending an arm and a leg – such as choosing an artificial version of this wonderful gem.

Several methods can be used to make synthetic diamonds. The original method was to use a condition with high temperature and high pressure. This technique is still widely used because it is relatively simple and cheap compared to other options. It uses a large press weighing hundreds of tons to create a pressure rate of 5 GPA. The heat caused in this environment is over 1500 degrees Celsius.
