Maybe you’ve seen the Monster High dolls online or you spotted your kid on the website and you’re wondering what Monster High is all about. Essentially, Mattel has created a really great marketing project. They created a whole online experience for kids to watch, play, read, participate and follow. And then three months later, dolls and toys were released and kids just had to have them. But this in no way discredits the quality of the show, website or toys. The truth is, they’ve done a really great job. The story behind the Monster High cartoon is great. Kids love it. Why would they want to have the toys so bad if the show wasn’t awesome?

Monster High School Details
The whole show is set at Monster High School, where everyone is a monster! It’s not like Harry Potter, though where everyone is learning to develop all of the same magic skills. All the creatures in the show are different, and everyone has to put up with some sort of annoyances that come with being the type of monster they are. The main character, for example, Frankie Stein, wants to try out for the fearleading squad and is frustrated by her limbs flying off during the routine, and then she spots a cute boy walking near — but I won’t ruin that episode for you! The premise of the cartoon is that Frankie is new at Monster High School and we follow her through her first days where she meets her future best friends.
